Crazy Week!

I know that it's been like a year since I last wrote but some crazy unexpected storms have happened this past week and I want to share with you guys. Plus mom and Danielle asked for an update.
As I'm sure all of you know already that Vince and I bought a house and having a baby! I am 27 weeks along and he is healthy! No name ideas yet, boy names are hard.

Young Life is going great! We run club and campaigners. We have 40-50 students come to club each week and we have 10 kids signed up for camp.

Last monday there was a bad storm in the middle of the night that knocked out our power for two days! Thankfully Paul and Sara had power to save our food in the fridge, which we already had to restock it because our fridge broke and we had to buy a new one and they are not cheap. By friday everything seemed back to normal. Plus we were getting ready for our friends Danielle, Katie, Casey, and Chadd coming to visit for the weekend. On Saturday evening we went into Charlotte to eat and walk around and were not aware of the crazy storm that was happening in Gastonia. We came home and our street was a mess from the trees so I went to the laundry room to get a towel for shoes and there was water all over our washer and dryer. Then we saw all the water spots on our ceiling and Vince investigated the attic and we had holes! We turned on the news to find out that we(basically just our neighborhood) were hit with baseball size hail! Our neon got messed up, the sunroof is completely gone and and our windshield is all cracked up. Andrew is missing two windows in the van!
So now we are just waiting for an appraisal on what this is going to cost but thankfully our insurance will cover everything minus the deductible on the house. But our car is not covered so I'm not sure what were going to do about that. Maybe this is God's funny way of telling us to get rid of the neon! Just pray that everything goes smoothly from here on out and that we hire the best contractor for the house because we have heard horror stories.
